Student Ministries

Tri-Zway

(try-za-way) is a mentorship ministry of Amplify Student Ministries. The meaning of the word comes from a mix between the Greek and Hebrew words for God, life, and man. It is man being awakened with the life of God and connecting with the Savior, Father, and Spirit as one. Joshua 22:1-5 Then the tribes were called together and they did not desert each other. They supported the community and were commended by the Lord along with this statement from Joshua, “But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.” Sometimes we think so much about what we are to do that we neglect thinking about who we are to be. If we know we are God’s children, we will love him and joyfully serve him. Obedience should be based on our love for God. God used tribes overseen by appointed leaders to lead, direct, and teach the ways of the Lord to the next generation so they would be able to apply the truths to their lives and follow in His ways. Our small groups, which are based on theses tribes, will be grouped as follows: men with young men, women with young women and led by a seasoned Christian, who will pour into the life of the students. They will meet for a time of fun, fellowship, intimate issue talks, and instruction. The focus of each tribe will be for the students to discover their Purpose, Identity, Power, Position, and most importantly, intimately know their God in a personal way.

Dg_Deepr Sessions

Meet every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Connect with God. Connect with Other. Connect with Life. This is for students who are seeking more than the typical service on Wednesday nights. We follow a focus for the quarter. We open this time up for more discussion and allow student to dig deeper in their relationship with Christ and encourage them not to be satisfied with just scratching the surface of Christianity. We want them to delve in and dig deeper!

CRAVE

Student Led Worship Team
CRAVE gives students a chance to use their musical gifts to minister to their fellow students. Our goal is to passionately pursue the Lord and cultivate a heart of worship in our own lives so we may lead others in the same way. By understanding the true meaning of worship we can arise to the challenge of leading others to connect with God through worship. Each person has their own unique way of connecting with God in worship and we want to help each student find that path. As this experience takes place not only will it uplift and renew but it will cause a hunger for more of God; a deeper craving. We pray to help initiate a soul craving for experiencing and connecting with God on a regular basis for all students.

If you have musical gifts that you would like to use for this ministry please contact the Student Ministries Pastor. Although we would love to see all students a part of this ministry, certain standards and guidelines must be met first. We use our practice time to facilitate a small group atmosphere and expect all students to participate and fulfill their duties. This is an opportunity to not only play for fun but to be challenged and stretched into a greater capacity for utilizing the gifts God has given us.
